SB 1342 -  Third-party Sellers from Foreign Countries of Concern

Requiring an online marketplace to record certain information from a third-party seller to verify a third-party seller’s location; requiring an online marketplace to disclose to consumers that a third-party seller is located in or doing business from a foreign country of concern; authorizing an online marketplace to hold in an interest-bearing account the sales proceeds from transactions between consumers and third-party sellers living in or doing business from a foreign country of concern, etc.
