SB 1682 -  Public Records/Artificial Intelligence Transparency Violations

Providing an exemption from public records requirements for information relating to investigations by the Department of Legal Affairs and law enforcement agencies of certain artificial intelligence transparency violations; providing that certain information received by the department remains confidential and exempt upon completion or inactive status of an investigation; providing for future legislative review and repeal of the exemption; providing a statement of public necessity, etc.
Effective Date: On the same date that SB 1680 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes a law
