HB 1037 -  Child Safety in Motor Vehicles

Requires person who uses motor vehicle to transport children to equip such motor vehicle with alarm system that prompts driver to inspect motor vehicle for unattended occupants before exiting; requires DHSMV to initiate public awareness campaign regarding alarm systems; requires DHSMV to maintain list of approved alarm manufacturers & alarm systems; revises transportation safety minimum standards for licensure of child care facilities.
