Assisted Care Communities: Authorizes AHCA to reimburse adult day care services on fee-for-service basis under Medicaid program; specifies requirements for certain standards for assisted living facilities agency is required to adopt by rule; requires operators of adult day care centers to annually complete specified continuing education; provides requirements for courses completed online; provides additional methods to satisfy continuing education requirements; authorizes DOEA to grant extension, not to exceed 1 year, for completion of continuing education; requires persons or entities offering continuing education courses to submit certain information to department within specified timeframe; authorizes certain operators to request waiver from continuing education requirements; prohibits department from renewing license of adult day care center.
