HB 893 (2021) -  Fee Waivers for Students Living in a Recovery Residence

Authorizes each Florida College System institution, career center operated by school district, & charter technical career center to waive out-of-state fees for students living in recovery residence; prohibits tuition & fees charged to student who is granted waiver from exceeding tuition & fees charged to resident student; provides that waiver is applicable for 110 percent of required credit hours of degree or certificate program for which student is enrolled; provides reporting requirements; requires State Board of Education to adopt rules.
