SB 1718 (2018) -  Prescription Contraceptive Coverage

Requiring health insurance policies and health maintenance contracts, respectively, to provide coverage for certain contraceptive drugs, devices, products, and procedures without imposing cost-sharing requirements; prohibiting such policies and contracts from imposing restrictions or delays on the required coverage; requiring religious employers who are exempt to provide notice to their employees and prospective employees in a specified manner; providing that a policy or contract established or maintained by an eligible organization complies with coverage requirements if the organization provides a self-certification to issuers providing coverage or a specified notice to the Department of Health, etc.
