Exempts from public records requirements personal identifying information of patients & physicians held by DOH in low-THC cannabis patient registry or former compassionate use registry; exempts information related to ordering & dispensing low-THC cannabis; authorizes specified persons & entities access to exempt information; requires that information released from registry remain confidential; provides penalty; provides for future legislative review & repeal; provides statement of public necessity.
Effective Date: on the same date that HB 63, or similar legislation establishing an electronic system to record a physician's orders for, and a patient's use of, low-THC cannabis takes effect
