SB 652 (2013) -  Public Records and Public Meetings/Commission on Ethics

Expanding the exemption from public records requirements for a written complaint received by the Commission on Ethics of an alleged violation of the Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, or any other alleged breach of the public trust within the jurisdiction of the commission, to include the commission’s determination regarding a written referral of a possible violation of the code or other possible breach of the public trust from the Governor, the Chief Financial Officer, a state attorney, or the Executive Director of the Department of Law Enforcement, etc.
Effective Date: On the same date that SB 926 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is adopted in the same legislative session, or an extension thereof, and becomes law
