Expands exemption from public records requirements for a written complaint received by Commission on Ethics of alleged violation of Code of Ethics or other alleged breach of public trust within jurisdiction of commission, to include commission’s determination regarding written statement of possible violation of code or other possible breach of public trust; expands exemption from public meeting requirements for proceeding conducted by commission to include proceedings conducted pursuant to written statement; provides for specified duration of exemptions; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemptions; provides statement of public necessity.
Effective Date: on the same date that HB 379 or similar legislation takes effect
