SB 1708 (2011) -  Destination Resorts

Creates the Destination Resort Commission within the Department of Revenue. Exempts the Destination Resort Commission from specified provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act. Creates the Destination Resort Act. Specifies the powers of the commission, including the power to authorize limited gaming at up to five destination resorts, conduct investigations, issue subpoenas, take enforcement actions, and create an invitation to negotiate process to evaluate applications for a resort license, etc.
