Juvenile Justice: Requires additional risk assessment points for child on specified status charged with new offense; provides that child may continue to be detained if he or she violates conditions of home detention; provides that child may be detained for failure to appear at any hearing, not just adjudicatory hearings; revises periods that child may be detained for failure to appear at hearing; provides additional detention for child who fails to appear & has previously failed to appear at two or more hearings; provides that child on home detention who violates conditions of detention may be placed in secure detention regardless of risk assessment score; increases periods that child may be held under certain detention orders; revises language concerning period that child may be held in secure, nonsecure, or home detention care; provides that child awaiting placement in any commitment level may be held in secure detention pending placement if child is arrested for any offense while in other specified forms of detention care.
