General Bill
Verification of Employment Eligibility:
Requires every employer to use the Employment Authorization Program to verify the employment eligibility of each employee on or after a specified date. Prohibits an employer from employing an unauthorized alien. Requires every public employer to register with and participate in the E-Verify system for specified purposes. Provides guidelines for interpretation of the provisions of the act, etc.
