General Bill
Attorney's Fees/Workers' Compensation Cases [CPSC]:
Provides that the finder of fact and law is not bound by provisions of state
law relating to the provision of indemnity or medical benefits for
employment-related accidents or injuries when awarding attorney's fees in
cases involving first responders. Requires that the finder of fact and law
consider certain factors when awarding attorney's fees in such cases.
Provides a statement of important state interest.
