HB 103 (2014) -  Possession or Discharge of a Firearm or Destructive Device During Commission of Specified Offenses

Provides that sentencing court may elect not to impose minimum term of imprisonment for person convicted of certain offenses during which person actually possessed or discharged firearm or destructive device if court finds that certain specified criteria are met; requires sentencing court that elects not to impose mandatory minimum sentence for relevant offense to make specific findings to support its decision to impose lesser term.
